- Author Responsibility: Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and properly cite all sources of information, including direct quotes, data, and ideas. They must declare that their submission is free of plagiarism and has not been published elsewhere.
Actions for Plagiarism
- Pre-Publication: If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be rejected or returned for revision. Authors may be prohibited from submitting future manuscripts if the plagiarism is severe.
- Post-Publication: If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal will take appropriate actions, including issuing a retraction or correction, notifying the authors' institutions, and making a public statement if necessary. Authors found guilty of plagiarism may face additional sanctions.
